Gilders are invited to join the Society of Gilders (www.societyofgilders.org ) in their annual Community Service Project in New Orleans during the week of October 24, 2010--volunteering their talents and time in the restoration of an exceptionally beautiful 155 year-old church that was a victim of hurricane Katrina. St. Alphonsus Church, which is on the National Registry of Historic Buildings, had been undergoing restoration when Katrina hit.
