The “blog” (short for a Web log) has been commonplace on the Internet for many years. Typically, bloggers set up their blog site, then begin adding posts and a few photos on a variety of topics. Some are politically motivated and some totally whimsical—plus everything in between.
There are quite a few companies with servers capable of hosting a variety of different blogs, such as WordPress, Joomla, Coppermine, and many more. Do a web search for “blog hosts” to get more specifics.
A couple of years ago, I started a blog for my photography at www.bestofthetetons.com via a WordPress blog. Soon it became apparent that it could be used as a standard website. Most people have the ability to copy links and upload images to sites like Facebook, right? WordPress blogs use those simple tools.
