“We used 3M 1080 Gloss Deep Blue Metallic for the blue on the front end,” says Dana Whitfield, Whitfield Signs, Statesboro, Georgia,
“Avery Dennison Charcoal Matte Metallic for the text on top of the blue, custom printed 3M IJ180 over laminated with Oracal 290 Matte Laminate for the concrete texture on the rear of the van, custom printed Avery Dennison Chrome for the logo and stripe on the side, and finally Oracal 5600 white reflective for the phone numbers and website.
We also used a combination of 3M 1080 Matte Black and Alko Alltak’s Mold n’ Hold black edge sealing tape to help hide the van’s original red paint color in the door jambs and other visible crevices.”
