In our final 3-by-16-ft. layout we offer a simple font on black Alumalite ACM with a digital graphic. The black background allows it to pop off the light-colored building. I enjoy offering depth/layers in most of my storefront signs, and will do the same in this layout. Each square digital graphic—carpet, tile, wood, and vinyl piece applied to Polymetal—can “bump out” an inch in front of the other, offering a nice visual aid to show what he offers.

This does add an additional expense to his project, however, so it could be printed digitally and applied flat to the Alumalite surface to give him a similar visual if he chooses not to take on the additional expense of the “bump out”.

Layout & design: $120
Materials: $630
Two 4-by-8-ft. panels of .25 Alumalite
55 sq. ft. high performance vinyl material
12 sq. ft. digital print on high performance vinyl with overlaminate
Production labor: $240
Installation (in our area): $150
