Script adds emotion.
A good sign person should be able to letter a good script, block and a casual. These tools are essential to a good layout—nice, crisp and clean. If you don’t hand letter, find a few good typefaces in each of these categories that you can depend on.
Find a home for insignificant copy.
Try to find ways to place copy like someone’s initials or The or Inc. so that they don’t detract from the main message. Try to design letters with places to put those items, like the photo of Thomas Trucking and Taylor Harvest.
