“We built the prototype of this counter display completely on the laser,” says Mike, “because it’s so fast. For the run of 20 displays, we did most of the framework on the CNC router. The hooks and hangers were cut from acrylic on the laser, then bent using a hotwire acrylic bender. We laser cut and engraved the cedar panels for the barn logo and bottom nameplate. The panel with the holes that hold the product is neoprene sheet that was cut on the laser.”

This award was laser cut and engraved acrylic, with the company logo done as a direct UV print on the back of the acrylic. The tomahawk was made from HDU. “Now that we have the 3D printer,” Mike says, “we would probably do the tomahawk on that. It’s faster.”
