Get a good deal on a Wacom tablet
One of the handiest tools for a sign designer is a Wacom digitizing tablet. If you’d like to have one to play with but can’t justify buying a brand new one, you may find a used one is the perfects solution.
A lot of graphic design classes require the student to buy a Wacom tablet, so that they can learn the basics of using it. Once the class is over, many students put it up for sale on eBay or Craigslist. You can pick up a tablet that has had little use for half or less the retail price and start using this powerful tool in your work.
