Really, it’s simple. If someone asks you to do work for them, you should expect to be paid for your time.

Call a plumber to your house. Take your vehicle to a repair shop. Drop off your computer at a computer clinic. Every one of them will have a minimum charge to analyze your project, and once the diagnostics are completed, you expect to pay for the actual services or repairs. Right?

Is the sign business any different?
