SignCraft moves from print to online
Online delivery means more articles, more photos and no more two-month wait

41 years ago this month we sent a letter to 1000 sign shops about our plans to publish a magazine for sign painters and sign shops like ours. 88 brave sign people sent us their nine dollars for an annual subscription, and SignCraft was on its way to becoming a reality.
There have been a lot of changes in those four decades. Now it’s time for another change—the change from print to online delivery. Like so many of you, we like the print edition. Being able to flip through the pages with a cup of coffee or to flag an article that you want to come back to later is natural for print magazine readers like us.
But in our Internet-driven world, print magazines are becoming “legacy products”—just look at the shrinking size of the magazine rack in your local grocery or drug store. More and more readers are doing their reading online.
