Yes—the bulb lights up!

, Washington, New Jersey] recently put this new technology to work on a van wrap for an electrical contractor.
The product is called LumaWrap from LumaMedia
. It uses LED illumination to do the job, and you can see it in action
on more vehicle graphics here. And it’s not just for vehicles—the battery-powered, thin, flexible electroluminescent graphics can be used on signs as well.
Being able to illuminate a portion of a wrap or other digital print graphics opens up a lot of possibilities for creative sign designers. It’s a cool, new effect that is sure to attract attention. After all, no one expects the light bulb—or any part of a digital print—to actually light up at night!
