The property was a hazelnut orchard for many decades prior to Hailey and Peter purchasing it. A blight destroyed the trees a few years back but the beautiful orchard won’t be forgotten. The sign will be lit with LED lights and feature a fully 3D hazelnut tree. The leaves will be plasma cut steel, and the lettering will be 23K gold of course.
Each suite’s sign needs to tell the story of the garden and suite hidden behind it. The North Star suite will have a whimsical nautical theme throughout. An ancient and barnacled sea anchor and compass rose are the graphics with the scroll tying it all together.
The Under Hill Suite sign is designed to reflect the earthy suite and gardens. The secret getaway is symbolized with a lock and key—heart shaped naturally. The sign is a combination of plasma cut steel and routed Precision Board HDU board.
The Copper Crown is all about elegance for royalty. The classic scroll work ties the elements of the sign together. The same typeface (from LetterheadFonts.com) is used on all of the signs, as is the simple scroll.

Imagine a project where the first thing on the agenda are the signs. This is before the business is named, before the buildings are built or even designed. Imagine a project where the sky is the limit, where anything is possible. Imagine taking as much time as we need to do it absolutely right. That sounds almost impossible, doesn’t it?

Not at our house. We are starting just such a project. It is going to be our very best yet, without a doubt. It’s time to pull out all the stops and have some real fun.

First, let’s define a sign. A sign is anything that draws attention to our customer’s product, service or business. That leaves plenty of room for creativity and for lots of fun!
