Although it’s amazing to see incredible detailed graphics, illustrations or even portraits rendered by laser, a far more common use is laser marking—identifying parts, products and panels. Though one-off custom laser graphics may be more creative and intriguing, the volume of laser marking and identification work is far greater.

And though laser marking may not scratch your creative itch, Steve Shepherd of Custom Engraving and Signs says it can provide profits that stabilize your business. The customers are often repeat customers who require less sales time, which can be a contrast to sign customers.
