Tired of working on the ground? Get a lift!
As we get older, it often gets harder to get down to sit on the floor or a low stool to work on a truck door to letter, stripe or apply graphics. There are now relatively low cost lifts that can lift a vehicle to a much better working height so that you can sit or even stand while you work. Look for them on HarborFreight. com or BestBuyAutoEquipment.com for well under $2000.
Sound expensive? If you average the cost of a lift over ten years, it’s under $200 per year for the convenience of working comfortably. While it may not be an issue at 30, it’s a different story as you’re approaching 60. And besides extending your career and avoiding joint pain, you’ll probably work more efficiently, too.
