Follow-up: Tim Peterson

Twenty-two years after he was first featured in the in the November/December 1999 issue of SignCraft, Tim Peterson is still turning out beautiful, effective signs in Spearfish and Deadwood, South Dakota. A fine artist as well as sign artist, he does both signs and art, and his shop showroom doubles as a gallery for his paintings. Here’s what he had to tell SignCraft in a recent conversation about his work today:

About 15 years ago I decided that I really wanted to invest more of my time in art so I shifted my focus to that. I had been neck deep in the Letterheads movement at that point. I had attended over thirty meets and had done workshops at many. Mike “Griz” Moore and I had also hosted several Letterhead meets.
