Nothing quite shows the difference that a new sign can make like before-and-after photos. Don Eckland [Weaverville Signs & Graphix, Weaverville, North Carolina] updated this sign for a community center with a face of CNC routed 2-in. HDU board. The letters are finished with aluminum leaf, and the posts are wrapped with cedar.
Here’s Don Eckland’s shop sign…

“We just finished a really cool project for a regional bank in our area,” says Margie Hegg, American Sign Studio, Worthington, Ohio. “It takes up a full city block. We designed, fabricated and installed three very large exterior signs and 20 interior logo/lobby signs for the project.
“The exterior was a very complicated build since the front of the building is curved and had no signage. We needed to build around the brick pillars and illuminate them as a building feature. We met on site with the installer, electrician and GC to coordinate it all.
“It also required multiple calls with the fabricator and installer as we prepared the specs to make sure everyone was aware of the challenges. It was the upfront work that made for a successful install. I’m attaching a before photo and a nighttime illuminated photo. It was great project and the customer loves the end result.”
